These images suggest what the landscape and key structures may have looked like and are the result of extensive research and compilation from historic accounts and maps. A brief description is provided for each image.

Maps Gallery

The maps gallery contains a collection of maps that were instrumental in reconstructing the landscape of 1862. Maps include hand-drawn soldier's maps as well as official survey maps from 1890.

These are a collection of images that compare features of the landscape in 1862 to the current landscape surrounding Prairie Grove today.
